Hello there! I'm Nicola, the heart and soul behind Argyll Virtual Assistant. Let me share a bit about who I am and how I've come to be your go-to virtual assistant.

A Journey to Argyll & Bute
I'm a very proud mum, and I'm lucky to be married to the most supportive man on the planet! In July 2021, my husband, youngest son and I took a leap of faith, relocating from our very long term home in Lancashire to the stunning landscapes of Argyll & Bute. It has turned out to be the best move we've ever made, and the stars truly aligned for us.
Hospitality Roots and Business Administration

My career journey began in the world of hospitality, starting on the reception of a prestigious hotel long before the days of AI and social media. I thrived in the fast-paced environment of national hotels, honing my skills in business administration. From managing bookings to ensuring accounts were in order, I worked my way up to become the reservations manager between two hotels.

In 2008, I took a proactive step and returned to college, earning diplomas in levels 1-3 of business administration. Over my 3o years of administration experience, I've embraced challenges, focused on details, and gained confidence in delivering top-notch service.
From Café Management to Virtual Assistance
My most recent role involved managing a bustling café, events, and glamping business. However, a twist of fate, and an unexpected accident on a horse, led me to
re-evaluate my path. Driven by the passion to get the job done right the first time, I decided to launch Argyll Virtual Assistant.
